The Baby-Moon

There was a segment on GMA a few months ago that the new trend is for couples to go on a baby-moon before their bundle of joy arrives..it's much like the honeymoon. Jose and I went on our baby-moon in February - several months before my September due date. We cruised through Mexico and it was heaven!

Here is the funny thing....I remember taking this picture (Jose, myself, and Sister Sue - not my sister but Vickie's sister) thinking that I was the largest 2-month pregnant woman EVER! I even wore a maternity bathing suit on that trip....okay look at this photo..I don't look pregnant at all! I honestly remember thinking that I was HUGE and why was I showing SO much already....whatever!

You should see me now!

And an FYI for those of you that have not had a baby yet or if you are a man...never ever ever comment on the body of a pregnant woman...comments like..

you look like you could deliver any minute...

you still have that long to go....

are you sure you are not having twins......

you're huge....(my favorite)

you're arms are getting large....

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

All we want to hear is that we look wonderful and other than the basketball in our tummy's - you can't even tell. End of discussion.

So, just remember even though a woman is pregnant - gives you NO right to make her feel worse about how fat and bloated she feels already. AMEN!
