Have not written much lately....busy around our house. The girls are doing just super! In fact - we had some excitement at our house on Saturday as Olivia went poop in her potty for the first time! I am sure this will be a very rare occurrence, but we were certianly happy and proud of her. She was rewarded with a red m&m! The picture above is her with her cool scarf that she just loves! Brooklyn is getting SO big - well not in pounds. We had her 4 month check up last week and she is weighing in at 12lbs 5 ounces, which is only the 20th percentile. She is 80% for height....the total opposite of Olivia. She is such a sweet baby - always smiling and now starting to laugh.
I had a celebration of my own this weekend as I bough new jeans from Old Navy! I can start going through my post pregnancy clothes and get my new "skinny" clothes in the closet! I feel so good, losing 33lbs through weight watchers has been a major accomplishment in my life! It has motivated me to run the 5K in the fifth third river bank run. Training starts soon! I am so motivated to do this - just can't wait until the snow clears a bit to hit the pavement!

Happy New Year 2008

I am home today with a migraine. I got to work today and felt great and then I started seeing dots and my vision got all blurry - within an hour my head was killing me. I left and came home - my Doctor phoned in a prescription for immitrex so after a few Advil and a few immitrex - I feel a bit better. My vision is still a bit blurry - but not as bad. I slept from 9:30am until 11:30- ate soup my mom brought me and went right back to sleep and I just woke up. I am enjoying the silence of home.
We had a great holiday season at the Ontiveros house. I haven't written much -just because the kids have kept us really busy. On Christmas Eve - we decided to stay home and relax with the girls which was a really nice thing to do. We went to church came home - played with the kids - fed them and put them to bed and then made a wonderful dinner of crab legs. YUMMY!! Christmas Day was great. Olivia was more into handing out the gifts than she was opening them. Both Brooke and Olivia got a few dolls, lots of toys that made noise, and my favorite - money for their college funds!!
Brooke is growing and growing - she is going in for her 4 month check up very soon - so I should have an update on weight - etc. She is super laid back....smiles a lot and is overall a great baby. We (yesterday) began putting her in her exosaucer. She seems to like it. Olivia is doing great too. She is a funny kid with LOTS of personality! She is always talking....sometimes saying actual words but mostly talking in her Olivia language.
Jose and I are doing well - I celebrated my 32nd birthday on Dec 29. A very fun night with Dave and Belva. The best birthday gift of all was that I reached my weight watchers goal. I lost 29lbs!! I personally have a bit more to go - but my ww goal was something that I set with one of the ww employees. What a GREAT feeling - even though I reached my goal - I am still going to go to the meetings - they are awesome.
Jose and I have a few news years resolutions - and so far off to a great start.
