Today was a BIG day....she is officially cutting her first tooth!

First "school" picture.

This was Olivia's first school picture! Well, we call daycare "school!" All the kids got their pictures taken and picture pick up was last Thursday - which was an experience to say the least! I never realized how important school pictures were - so on pick up day it was insanity! Parents everywhere - deciding on which smile, which pose, etc! Parents literally spending like 20 minutes to decide between the two poses! In fact I walked in with one mom - we both got our pictures...I picked ours - paid - walked to my car to put the pictures in it while I got Olivia - got Olivia - chatted for about 10 minutes with her teachers - and left - and that same mom was STILL just comparing the pictures of her kid! It was comical - maybe I make decisions too fast!

Anyway - I love this picture - she looks like such a big kid!

Number Two!
Here are some photos of Number two taken at our ultrasound last week Tuesday.

Everything is great with the new baby...we saw fingers and toes, arms and legs and everything in between. The baby weighs a pound too. This new baby was moving around a lot - we do not know the sex of number two - we'll wait until the big day. However - we have ideas of what we think we are having - but who knows! I am getting bigger by the day and I swear when people see me and I have Olivia they must think that we are nuts! I can see the "oh that poor girl" look in their eyes!
Speaking of Olivia she can clap her hands together now...patty cake! It's SO cute! Her "new" room is coming along nicely too - we just ordered her a chair so once that comes in I imagine that we'll officially move her in to her new digs! I have had SO much fun decorating a little girls room! I have to say a special happy belated mother's day to my dearest friend Lisa who is expecting her little one ANY DAY now! She is two weeks away from her due date and I know it can't get here fast enough! Also happy belated mother's day to my cousin Sara who is expecting her third baby any day now!
My mother's day was wonderful. Jose made me a HUGE breakfast and then we ran some errands. We grilled some wonderful filet's for dinner - yummy! And, to top the evening off we went to my favorite place, Jersey Junction, the best ice cream place in town! Olivia had some of daddy's vanilla cone and screamed when we wouldn't give her anymore! I also got some very nice gifts for my first mother's day, a new coach purse that I have wanted and from my mom a very beautiful Burberry watch - which was a HUGE surprise....but as she put it this was my mother's day gift for the next 10 years!
And for all of you curious about the pool.....we are in the process of filling that bad boy with some good ole H2O! We should have things up and running within the next two weeks!
Boy - am I looking forward to spending some of my days laying by the pool - relaxing before number two arrives! Yes - of course we are having a bash over Memorial Day...stayed tuned for party details! We can't wait to see you! However there are some new pools rules for this summer. As with any expanding household with a small child at home and a pregnant mommy...pool hours will be VERY limited this year. Olivia's bedroom is right above the pool and she can hear everything when her window's are open...so when baby sleeps it is quite time at the Ontiveros house~ this will give Jose and I chance to relax just the two of us. Last year being pregnant over the summer - plus having a house with a pool and many people over a lot was just too much to handle. So this year we are just going to take things very very easy...thanks in advance for understanding!

Olivia loves her dolly named Dolly. This was given to her by Aunt Lisa and out of all her toys - this is one of her favorites. When she sees Dolly her face just lights up! This was taken this morning during nap time....she was snuggling extra tight with Dolly! I thought Lisa would get a kick out of this!
