The latest at the Ontiveros Home......Olivia turned 1 1/2 on Tuesday. We celebrated with half birthday cake......

Here is "that" look again. You can see that she has a naughty side right??

Brooklyn is so HAPPY ...but only for us. She cries for everyone else....no kidding...just looking at someone other than Jose or me can really set her off. Here is the list of people that she does not seem to care for....Rick, Todd, Laurie, Sue, and Donna Matlak...and those are the folks that set her off this past week. Thankfully she is happy at daycare or they probably would have kicked us out of there. Oh - LOOK AT THOSE EYELASHES. GORGEOUS!!

Let us be grateful
to people who
make us happy;
they are the
charming gardeners
who make our
souls blossom.

Feeling Better....after over two weeks of feeling horrible ... I am starting to feel much better! Hung low this weekend and went back to work today. I hit a parked car today & took off someone's mirror...what a bad way to start the week. It wasn't all my fault considering this woman had decided to park her car like 30% into the street. I am now anxiously awaiting sky-high insurance rates!
Have a good week...and watch for those cars!

Feeling Blue....This is how I have been feeling the past two weeks - sick & blue! I have barely left the house, I have been living in my pj's and I haven't worn make-up in days. I hope I start feeling better soon. Jose is taking me back to the Doctor tonight because nothing is helping. Since I have been in pj's - the girls have also been in pj's A LOT.
I want to send prayers to the Glover Family up North. They recently had to put their dog Molly to sleep and they just found out their other dog Mason has Cancer. The Glover's have three kids who really love their dogs and I know how hard it is to lose a pet - so I can't imagine being so young and losing one of your best buddies.

See Those Looks....

Brooklyn looking sweet and just sitting there happy as can be. Now take a look at Olivia..she looks like she is about to do something naughty huh?? Yup - that's how things go around here. Olivia with "that" look and Brooke as sweet as can be. Both girls are getting yet another winter cold. Speaking of winter - it's snowing like you would NOT believe out there! I mean it is coming down - so bad that they closed our office this afternoon. This is the 2nd time in less than a week that the office has been closed. Jose just went out to snow blow before we get the girls from school (daycare.) Calling it school makes me feel better. Anyway Olivia is loving school - she is currently learing the ABC's - Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes, and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. I love doing those with her - but after the 100th time - it gets a bit old.
I have lost a total of 36lbs on weight watchers...oh my!! I am fitting in all of my pre-kid clothing. It's such an awesome feeling. I love when I haven't seen people in a while and they comment on the weight lose - that really keeps me going! This week is my last week of maintence and then I can go for free! Cool huh??
Last weekend we went to our church auction and had SUCH a blast. We ended up bidding and getting a handmade doll house for the girls - I was going to save it until Christmas, but of course I couldn't. It's so cute...I will have to take some photos of it and post them. Jose and I sold the 50/50 tickets at the auction and in all of St. Al's history no two people have ever sold more tickets! So, I guess that will be our job at the auction for the next 30 years or so.
I have decided to give up pop for Lent. I love my diet coke, since I joined weight watchers my diet coke and 100 calorie popcorn is my snack - the one thing I look forward to more than anything. I honestly don't know how I am going to manage. I can deal without a lot - but pop will really be a test. Jose is giving up coffee which is NUTS. As long as I get my skiny latte from Starbucks I guess I will be okay! Can't go to church tonight due to weather and I feel bad about it.
Happy Wednesday.

The Girls hanging out.
Olivia trying to feed brooklyn her night bottle.
She missed her mouth and got formula everywhere. She tried - what a great big sister.
Brooklyn after Olivia shoved the bottle in her face...as you can see formula all over her pj's.
