While I was making dinner tonight Olivia decided to play in all of the tuperware. She had SO much fun. Look at the mouth full of teeth! She is seriously entering into her terrible two's. She was a BEAR this weekend. You can't tell from that smile - but she was so naughty.....
Brooklyn is sweet - her eyelashes are incredible...they touch her eyebrows. I was trying to get her to smile but she was unsure of the camera. Had a nice weekend - went shopping today to get a few new things for my trip to New Orleans. Last night went to dinner with Rick & Todd at the Black Rose and then we went to have drinks at Bar Divini - which was nice to have a night out with just adults. It was the first time in a while that I was able to eat a meal without a crying child. I have spring fever big time. I can't wait to open the pool and have burgers on the grill.

This was the present the girls received from the Easter Bunny....their first wagon!
As you can see from the photo below - Olivia does not like to share with her sister...lately everything has been "MINE!!"

March has come and gone and I am looking forward to April. Last Thursday night was the Make-A-Wish Gala, which I am responsible for...thankfully it was a smashing success...even making front page news in the GR Press on Friday! (Thanks to my new friends at the GRPD.)
I am leaving in just over a week for a conference in New Orleans and the thought of leaving the girls makes me SICK...not to mention that I HATE to fly...even have frequent nightmares about it. But, the weather there as been nearly 80 - so that will be a nice change of pace.
I am just getting over a stomach flu - or something like that. Olivia is a sad mess now...runny nose...red cheeks...sad and clingy. I feel so bad for her. I picked her up from "school" today so she could get a good nap this afternoon...which she did.
Both girls are sound asleep right now and Jose and some of our neighbors are at the Griffins game so I am enjoying a peaceful night at home. No TV ...just enjoying quiet!
Looking forward to Friday...I am taking the day off....and I am going to the SPA for a manicure and facial and I can hardly wait!
