So happy to have the computer back! It's amazing how much I missed that thing. I was watching the news this morning about the fires in California and they were talking to a family who lost everything and the news anchor asked what they were able to grab and I got to thinking - if I had a split second to grab a few things what would they be...well obviously your family, the pets, and I would have to say my wedding album, the girls baby books and this computer. This computer houses every single picture we have taken the past few years, including both girls births. So, that is what I would take....although I'm sure if I was in that horrible situation who knows that I would grab. As long as you have your family - that's all that really matters.
The weather has officially turned - Sunday was beautiful and my mom and I walked around Reeds Lake - (4.2 miles) it felt good to get out and exercise! Speaking of exercise I lost another 2 1/2 lbs at weight watchers this past week!! SO EXCITED! It really works and the food I have been cooking has been just awesome! If you need to drop any weight I was highly recommend WW - it really works and you know - it is super easy. I still get to eat my ice cream every night and I can drink coffee and diet coke - which is essential at the moment!
Girls are doing very well. Brooklyn's results from her ultrasound came back and everything is perfectly fine with her spine...yeah! A HUGE sigh of relief! She is continuing to grow, getting biger and bigger - gaining the weight that she should. She continues to sleep well at night - which we are very thankful for! She is 6 weeks old today - can't believe it. She still has tons of black hair and it may be thinning a bit but she still has a lot of it!
Olivia is doing well too - she is little Miss Personality! A few weeks back we had her first modeling shoot. If I have not mentioned this before it is only because I do not want to be one of "those" moms. A few months ago we submitted her photos to a local modeling agency (at the suggestion of some family) and she was "accepted" into the agency. We went three weeks ago to get her head shots taken for the 2007-2008 "BOOK" that is put out. I checked the agency out and they are on the up and up and have such clients as Meijer, Gerber, Amway, etc. In fact while we were there getting Olivia's pictures taken - the little boy that was going to be photographed after Olivia was recently in a Helen DeVos Children's Hospital campaign - so the kids do get work. And - if nothing pans out it will be cool to show her the book someday! She is getting another tooth and is walking around. She is getting too big!!

Olivia (almost 14 months) and Brooklyn (6 weeks) - I think getting a pictures of these two will be a difficult task

We are back up and running!! Yeah! Got the computer back yesterday and I am SO happy! All is well - BUSY. I head back to work in two weeks - looking forward to getting back into a routine. Plus it will be nice to wear nice clothes instead of the jeans and sweats I have been wearing. Here are some updated photos.
Eric with Brooklyn - this was taken about three weeks ago when he was in town.
Olivia and Mommy goofing-off for the camera.
Don't worry - there is no beer in this bottle. Olivia snagged it off the coffee table and "pretended to drink" like Daddy. No need to call CPS on us!

Computer Down....
We are having issues with our laptop and can't use our home computer at the moment! BUMMER! I HATE not having a computer at home, you don't realize how much you rely on technology until you don't have it! From catching up on the latest news - to this blog - online banking....I feel like a lost puppy. ( I am at my mom's right now.)
All is well - Olivia is doing great. I feel like she is entering into the terrible two's. She bit me a few days ago in the stomach and actually broke skin. That is how she is showing anger and frustration these days. Hopefully she grows out of that soon. She loves her new daycare - which I am very happy about. All and all she is great and she gets more enjoyable each and every day!
Brooklyn is also doing well...she is a good sleeper at night. (One month old today!!) We can put her down around 10pm and she gets up around 5am to eat..can't complain. The good news is that she is starting to put weight on! YEAH!!! She is over her birth weight now - weighing 8lbs 3ounces. She is also an inch longer. She has still been spitting up occasionally - but for the most part all of her various medications seem to be working. She had her ultrasound yesterday and we have to wait for the results - but our pediatrician seems to think that everything will be okay. (She has a "dimple" on her spine and they need to make sure that everything is okay with it. The dimple could cause problems with her spine and nerves as she gets older.) Olivia was a VERY easy baby and Brooke seems to be giving us a run for our money!
Mommy and Daddy are doing well too - Jose LOVES this time of year..Halloween coming up and all! He has actually done some arts and craft projects for Halloween...making cute ghosts for the front of the house..and he has decorated mini pumpkins that look like black spiders. Very cute..once our computer is fixed I will post pictures of his artistic abilities!
I am well....still working on getting the baby weight off...I have a LONG way to go. I joined weight watchers last week and tomorrow I go in for my very first weigh in! I would like to get back to my before children weight....and I would like to be back to that weight by Christmas....so...we'll see!
