Brooklyn - AWAKE!!!
This was taken yesterday afternoon while Brooklyn was hanging out in her swing. She seems to really like the swing - which is a good thing. Isn't it weird how different my two girls look?? It's weird to see a baby with all this BLACK hair...she has tons and tons of hair and Olivia didn't have much at all. It will be very interesting to see what this little one ends up looking like!

Big Sister Olivia....
Here is Olivia doing one of her favorite things...taking a bath! We call this the bird bath (in the kitchen sink.)
She LOVES the bird bath because she can make HUGE splashes!! Jessica has more fun than Olivia ...I think!!!

Oh - for those of you that didn't know - Jose and I knew that we were going to have another girl all along! Yup - that is right!!! I was able to keep that a secret! We fooled you all!! It was fun too! Jose didn't want to find out the sex and I did - so that was our compromise..we would find out but not tell anyone! What is even funnier is that we slipped and said she or her all the time but no one caught on! Thankfully we kept the sex a mystery until Brooklyn was born....and we knew that we were going to name the baby Brooklyn Sofia....another surprise!!!

8 Days Old......
The top two pictures are of Brooklyn and the bottom two are of Olivia when she was Brooke's age. Do you think they look alike at all?? I see similar features but they honestly look nothing alike in person. The pictures of Brooklyn were taken this morning. She is now 8 days old and doing rather well. She has been sleeping pretty well and we have been getting sleep too - thankfully!! Olivia does not care for her at all. I would think that at Olivia's age she would not have really noticed but she has and does not seem to be too happy about the new baby. Olivia has been very teary lately which is not like her - I am sure in another week or two she will be back to her good ole' self! Really for having two babies at home we are hanging in there. It sure is crazy though!! A good crazy but very crazy!

Did anyone see poor Britney Spears perform last night at the VMA's?? Oh my - did I feel bad for that girl.....

With sadness and desperation - I can tell you there is STILL NO baby. I was going to be induced this morning but the hospital was too busy. I feel like Rachel in Friends - when everyone got to have their baby but her. I am dilated to almost 4...but other than that no progress.

There is STILL NO baby.
I promise when we know - you will know.
