I can't believe how fast a week has gone! With the 4th of July and family in town - we have been so busy that I haven't been able to post in a while! We had a great 4th - I'm sure you have seen all the photos! We've been having fun this past week - Tim, Laura and the kids are in town from the UP and it's been great to catch up and spend time with them! Their little one Kelsey is a doll and has "Aunt Jose" wrapped around her finger several times over! Tomorrow we are hosting a birthday party for Ryan and Sara and we are hoping for good weather so the kids can swim!

Well..tonight was very special. I had my first shower. Thanks to my family, Sara, Sue G, Sue Z, Mary Ann, Laura, Laurie, Jessica, & my mom Michelle along with my friends (who are like family) Karen, Vickie and Steph for making tonight SO memorable. Sara suggested we paint a tile mirror for the baby's room - so we did just that tonight and headed to The Mud Room in Ada for some painting, good conversation and food! I even had my first shower cake - it said Welcome Baby Ontiveros and I almost cried - it was very overwhelming. The theme of the mirror was animals or the beach..since we love our animals and would love to be at the beach all the time - we thought this would be prefect! Once the mirror is complete I will put a photo up to show you. It will look SO cute in Zippy's room!!!
I honestly can't believe that we did a tile mirror for MY baby's room - oh my! It's quite a miracle!

Congratulations to my friend Marcie and her husband Brian who welcomed a nearly 10 pound baby boy a week and a half ago! She had a great pregnancy - but labor was close to 24 hours long...Everyone is healthy and happy and we are thankful!
