Zippy's Room

Here are the pictures of Zippy's Room - very gender neutral. The walls are a butter-yellow and the furniture is distressed black. Someday the crib can even become a double bed! The lime green chair is actually a rocker and it was a gift from my mom. I am sure that we will spend many hours on that chair! The bedding is bumble bees - which Jose picked out (and has nothing to do with my previous employment at B-93!) We recently got the bookcase, which I LOVE! It's already filled with several books, thanks to Sara & Mary Ann! We have pictures on the walls and we have a quote right above the crib that will have some hand painted bees around it by this weekend. We also are awaiting to hang the lovely tile mirror - which I believe we will be able to put up this weekend!! Then the room will be 100% complete!

Tonight was GNO (Girl's Night Out.) My mom and I met Sara and Nora at the Cascade Roadhouse for dinner and then took a drive to EGR and walked down to Reeds Lake to listen to some great live music..where we ran into Sue Z. It was so nice - AND Sara picked up the tiles tonight and they look SO cute!! I can't wait for the mirror to be done!! I'll make sure to post photos! Well..I am so tired after the horrible Thunderstorms we had last night. Our yard and plants really needed the rain and they look very "happy" today. The lightening show was amazing and thankfully we never lost power - our dish network went out - but that's okay...forced me to continue reading my book!

So, I have been getting a lot of slack for not posting pictures of myself (pregnant) on the blog..so I will do so tomorrow - however this late in the game - there is no picture that you look good in. Fat and bloated - that's how I feel to sum it up!
