4th of July Party!
Well, the 4th of July was awesome! We had a house full of family and friends and of course the night was topped off with Eric shooting Roman Candles out of his butt - well...actually he shot them out of both ends this year. It is truly something to see - I almost wet my pants laughing!
For the first time ever our dogs were completely freaked out by the fireworks! They did not like the noises at all - so the cowered in the house - shaking uncontrollably. It was so sad!
I was SO tired last night after everyone left - it's a lot of work these days to entertain that many people.
Well, about 9 1/2 weeks left of this pregnancy...I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It just seems like yesterday I found out I was pregnant. For the most part I am feeling pretty good - of course I am getting tired more frequently but that is to be expected. I am still sick from time to time and now I am dealing with Gestational Diabetes. The fun just never stops. I was diagnosed with GB about 2 weeks ago and I was mortified. I thought that I was doing something wrong but come to find out - it's really nothing I did wrong just my body not being able to handle certain foods. I am currently on a high protein diet - but I still can eat ice cream which is awesome! I also have to draw my blood 4 times a day to make sure my levels are where they should be. So far I am doing good with everything - every once in a while my levels are oddly low which causes some concern - but overall they are okay.
