I scream....
You scream...
We all scream for ice cream!

This weekend went by way too fast - there was so much to be done including a great deal of yard work! Saturday night we went to dinner which was nice - just the three of us and today grilled out. I am half way through my second pregnancy and feeling good. I am trying to motivate myself to get Olivia's closet in her NEW room organized - but I just can't seem to get there. I was out of town this past week for work - only Thursday and Friday (in Chicago!!) It was my first night away from Olivia and you know what??? I survived - so did she..and to be honest it felt nice to have a night away. I don't mean that in a bad way - but when you have kids your life is consumed by them, so it was nice that for 24 hours I was just Cara....does that make sense?? However - I was thrilled - over the moon happy to see her (and Jose) when I got home!
Our friend Corbin returned home today from his second tour in Iraq. We are SO happy that he is home safe and sound. Four members from his company passed away and every time we heard of a death - we held or breaths. So WELCOME HOME CORBIN - and THANK YOU - to Alpha Company 124!!

She is so bright and beautiful!

Cara, isn't it fun to relive childhood again with your own baby? You know what I mean...it's like we get excited again about all the fun/childhood stuff!

As always, thanks for sharing. We have been particularly busy around here. Robert has his first communion/confirmation this Sunday. I began working for the YMCA about a month and a half ago. It's going well...(just 12-15 hours a week)but I am need of a break to get everything done around here lately. When MaryAnn comes up, Tim and I plan to sneak away for a night. It's also nice to just be a couple without the kiddo's once and awhile. Gain new/fresh perspective! Well, I rambled, but just wanted you to know I was thrilled to see new pictures of Olivia! Sounds like things are going quite well for your growing family. Blessings & Many Smiles,

Laura
